Join: How to become a Member
All students of Mediterranean antiquity who are interested in promoting the study of women, sexuality and the family in the ancient world, and/or who are concerned about the position of women in the profession, are invited to become members of the Women’s Classical Caucus.
Our membership includes college and high school teachers, students, and independent scholars, and we welcome representatives of both sexes (men currently make up about 25% of our membership). Members are entitled to participate in all WCC services, including the Mentoring Network. Dues are payable at the beginning of each calendar year in US dollars only (see instructions, below, for British and Canadian members). It is possible to pay for multiple years.
In addition to our traditional mail-in membership form (below), the WCC is offering the option to pay your dues with PayPal. Because of the processing fee for the benefit of PayPal, there is a nominal difference in dues depending on whether you choose PayPal or mail as a way of remaining current in your membership status.
The WCC offers a free, one-year membership to all students who request one. To take advantage of this offer, e-mail a request to the Secretary-Treasurer, Antonios Augoustakis, including your name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, the graduate program in which you are enrolled.
PAY DUES by MAIL
If paid by mail, the annual dues of the WCC are
__ Regular ($20) __ Retiree ($5)
__ Student ($10) __ Life Member ($200)
__ Free student membership (one year only; contact Secretary/Treasurer)
